Sarah Williams is a self taught photographer living in the Welsh Borders near Montgomery. She trained and worked as a biochemist before giving up scientific research to make hand crafted mattresses. Her interest in photography started early – at 9 she had her own Kodak Instamatic camera – but was short lived as her pocket money couldn’t stretch to the cost of developing the snaps! She continued to enjoy looking at works by other artists but it was only much later on that she invested in a 35mm camera and began to take photographs again. She has produced promotional images for a number of small businesses and has had her work featured in the Montgomery Wildlife Trust Calendar this year.
